Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ZedIoT receives through this website, why we use it, which service providers may process it, and how you can contact us about your data.
Last updated: July 20, 20261. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to zediot.com, its contact forms, project inquiry forms, AI assistant, analytics, and other website features operated by ZedIoT. It does not replace the privacy terms in a signed customer, supplier, employment, or project agreement.
A third-party website reached through a link from ZedIoT has its own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing that website's policy before providing information.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information generated when the website is used.
- Contact and business details, such as your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and preferred contact method.
- Project information, such as device type, use case, technical constraints, requested service, message content, attachments, NDA preference, and expected next step.
- AI assistant conversations, conversation identifiers, page context, and contact details voluntarily entered during a chat.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser and device information, language, referrer, requested URL, timestamps, and rate-limit or anti-spam signals.
- Usage and analytics data, such as pages viewed, links or calls to action used, approximate session behavior, and campaign attribution where available.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, arrange technical discussions, evaluate project fit, and prepare requested proposals or next-step recommendations.
- Operate, maintain, secure, diagnose, and improve the website, contact forms, AI assistant, and related infrastructure.
- Measure content usefulness, navigation, campaign performance, and service demand without treating analytics as a substitute for customer consent where consent is required.
- Detect spam, abuse, automated scraping, malicious requests, and other activity that may affect the website or its users.
- Maintain business records, meet legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, and enforce applicable agreements.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information on one or more of the following grounds: your consent; steps requested before entering a contract; performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, protecting the website, and improving our services.
5. AI assistant and automated processing
The ZedIoT AI Assistant uses the recent conversation and page context to provide an initial response. A configured AI model provider may process that content on our behalf. The assistant can be inaccurate and does not confirm pricing, certification, availability, delivery dates, or contractual commitments.
Do not submit confidential design files, credentials, regulated personal data, or trade secrets through the assistant before an appropriate confidentiality arrangement is in place. Use the contact form to request an NDA or a human discussion.
7. International processing
ZedIoT works with delivery locations and service providers in more than one country. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where it was submitted. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, or other appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
8. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to a request, supporting an active business relationship, maintaining security records, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable agreement.
Security and conversation logs are kept outside the public website files. Where implemented, IP information in AI conversation logs is hashed rather than stored as plain text.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls presented on the website. To make a privacy request, use the Contact page and identify the request as a privacy inquiry.
11. Children's privacy
This business website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the website, our processing practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
For questions or requests about this policy, use the ZedIoT Contact page. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or project information until the appropriate communication and confidentiality arrangements are confirmed.
